Monographic publication Jiří Kovanda. Composition with Butterfly, that includes
an introduction in form of texts of François Piron and Jana and Jiří Ševčík,
is a characteristic companion of the artists' work that covers his compositions from 1976 to 2010. However, the main core of the publication is a conversation between
the artist and Edith Jeřabkova. During this dialogue most important aspects of Jiri Kovanda's artistic work were brought up. Apart from well-known and frequently reproduced works there are also those never published before of an enormous emotional importance for the author himself.
From the very beginning of his artistic work till his latest productions, individual phases of his activity have been discussed. We deal with a very intimate expressions that reveal the way of perceiving the art by the artist himself. At the same time, very original and personal aspect of this publication makes that reader feel like he was "personally showed around" a world of Jiři Kovanda.

The publication was released within the project Czech Dream - Lucid Dream
supported by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
